According to a spokesperson for the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority, investigations have been underway following a incident in which a five-year-old boy fell 12-15 feet down a public-transit elevator shaft in Decatur, Georgia. The unit’s doors "did swing in" when the child pushed on them. The boy "was not badly hurt."
